Selfish hero - poor writing

This was one of the more selfish and juvenile heroes I've ever read. He was hot and cold, broke into the heroines house when she (very understandably) didn't want to see him but when he didn't want to see her he insulted her deeply. He was a bully and even if he claimed he loved how strong she was, he never allowed her to be herself. Always complaining if he didn't get things exactly his way. What a whiner.
If that was not enough - the writing was awful. Often sentences meant the opposite of what I think the author must have meant. But these things happen when you don't know the difference between forgetful and forgetable. Or new and knew. Or your and you're. English is my third language and even I could see how badly this was written.
Not a book I would recommend even if it was refreshing having a heroine who forgot the one-night-stand she'd had two years prior.

Received this book for an honest review.
When Cato finds a beautiful woman in Times Square on New Year's Eve he has the most memorable night of his life. When he wakes up the next morning his life will never be the same. Instead of finding the beautiful woman, he finds a note signed -K- Cato doesn't know anything about this woman other than she lives in California. No Name...Nothing to help him find her.
Two years later when Cato takes on a client named Katarina he can't believe who sits right across the table from him. His one-night stand from New Year's Eve. The one woman that changed his life. Cato has never believed in fate.....until that moment.
One downfall.....she doesn't remember Cato.
She wants to hire Cato as her boyfriend because her parents are pushing her to marry their friends' son, Joey, whom is a dear friend to Kat but she doesn't want a relationship with him. Her parents own a winery and Joey's parents own a shipping company. If the two of them were to get married it would be a great business decision.
Cato doesn't know what to think. He can't believe that she doesn't remember a thing from their night together. He has thought of the passion that they shared for two years and now that she is in his life again he is determined to not let her get away again.
Katarina has changed from the fun loving girl that Cato remembers to a serious almost sad person. Cato wants to prove that she is fun loving and carefree when she allows herself to be.
Will Cato convince Katarina to give him a real shot at Love or will the secret she is hiding destroy them ?

Refreshing new story but pace is still to fast

In the third book of the series we follow Cato and Katrina who have a one night stand and then meet up 2 years later and see that it meant more to Cato then Katrina.
Cato is the player who has a string of one night stands and is the guy who leaves in the middle of the night so when someone does it to him, it does hit his ego. It understandable that he would be frustrated that she doesn't remember him no matter what he did and I liked how he spent the time to fall for her again and make her fall for him despite her reservations.
Katrina has had to deal with a loss that unfortunately a lot of people go through and I liked how closed off she was to giving love a second chance. I know if it were me I would be hesitant to jump back on the saddle so to speak. But as she falls for Cato, she deals with that struggle with guilt that most people do when moving on.
It was refreshing for the relationship between Cato and Katrina because it wasn't like the last two books but the explanation for why Katrina didn't remember him was a little weak. It didn't really make sense and didn't seem fully believable.
I found Joey's character rather annoying but I think that was the point. I don't think Todd wanted us rooting for Joey in any regard, even if it was out of pity.
I liked that the characters had different issues they needed to work through but there were some grammatical errors that took from the story. The was again a little to fast but it was not enough to not make me not want to read it.
