a well-researched book on Sharia law

This is a collection of detailed and well-sourced chapters outlining various elements of Sharia law. The authors are all learned academics, each who has thoroughly researched his area. I know Nicholas Aroney, one of the editors and athor of a chapter, but this does not influence my assesment of this work as a superb piece of legal research. It is extraordinarly informative, but not biased, and I will use two of the chapters for an undergraduate class in International and omparative Law.
